GIMP 2.10.4 Tutorial: Create a Split RGB Effect (Two Methods)
In this GIMP 2.10.4 tutorial, I show you how to create an ad composition using two different RGB splitting methods, also known as “Split RGB” or a “RGB Glitch Effect.” I’ll split the red, green, and blue channels manually and adjust them so that it appears that the photo has been warped over time or simply has a glitch in its color profile.
This is a fairly simple tutorial that goes in-depth into color profiles and separating color channels.
