Rain Effect | GIMP Photo Manipulation Tutorial

In this GIMP tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a rain effect using some great photo manipulation techniques and free plugins to make it look like it’s raining in your image. I’ll show you how to use layer modes, layer masks, and custom brushes to achieve the effect. Plus, I’ll show you how to change the mood in your image to match the mood of the composition – in this case we made the image more dramatic and desaturated.

This is a great tutorial for beginners, but can be useful to GIMP users of all levels!
