How to Create a Movie Poster in GIMP

In this tutorial by Davies Media Design, I go over how to create a professional looking movie poster in the open source (free) graphic design program Gimp, which is basically the same thing as Photoshop. I use techniques in this tutorial including Gradients, 3D Text, Glossy Text, Image Scaling, and ScriptFu, amongst others. This tutorial is mainly for intermediate to advanced users, but beginners will still be able to follow along.
