How to Create a Text Portrait Poster in GIMP

In this tutorial, I show you how to create a dramatic text portrait poster using the free graphic design program GIMP. You can download this program at GIMP.org. GIMP is essentially the free version of Photoshop.

You’ll learn how to import and resize an image, de-saturate and adjust the levels of the image, use the unsharp mask feature, overlay text on the image, work with layers, and create an awesome final poster!

This tutorial is perfect for all skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and expert GIMP users. If you are looking for a photo editing tutorial, this is a useful video, although I have other tutorials on my channel.
